The next chapter

Early mornings at the new studio. The dew of the night still on the big windows. The soft morning light filters through, changing with each season — golden and warm in summer, crisp and pale in winter. The high street below is still asleep; there are only occasional calls of seagulls and hums of life as the town begins its gentle wake up. Steam rises from the kettle as the morning begins with tea. I open windows to feel the new day’s air move through the space, and sit watching this still-life scene unfold.

The studio’s next chapter

This autumn, I moved into a beautiful new studio space residing above Morgans Gallery on Falmouth High Street. It is a space to grow into and with, home to endless possibilities for my creative work.

The period building, thoughtfully restored by its owners, is full of character and ever-changing light dances on the exposed walls of the studios and stairways. I feel truly honoured to work in such an inspiring place, and to be part of a community of other artists and creative beings within the building.

I’m settling in, curating existing works within the space, whilst welcoming in new design projects. I am already so enjoying sharing the space during meetings with clients and conversations with creatives, being able to offer a welcoming environment to create within.

The new studio space offers the opportunity to dive back into creating art in its many forms, something I haven’t had the right space (mind and physically) for recently. It also allows me to invite others into my creative process, whether it’s collaborating, experimenting or sharing ideas.

Lab: creative, collaborative studio days

Experimental design projects, creative days, workshops, creative breakfasts, time for exploration, research and creative play at the studio. Inviting others to join in acts of creative exploration as a dynamic and evolving practice.

In parallel with our client projects, this studio evolution is allowing the space for creative exploration, dedicating time to individual and collaborative experimentation and reflection as vital components of our creative journeys. Through these deliberate acts of creative exploration, we aim to look outside the conventional boundaries, allowing the essence of design and ideas to emerge in new ways.

If you have a project or collaboration in mind, get in touch. And if you find yourself wandering down the high street, I would love to welcome you into the new studio.
