You’ve been driving for some time now…

The further West you go, the more the landscape reveals itself and changes with each mile. You can almost smell the sea in the air. But now you ‘re ready for rest. Here, in a beautiful little hamlet, in a river creek location on the South Coast of Cornwall, hidden between the trees, Malmo in Cornwall is ready to welcome you.

When Rebecca Lawson (@malmo_and_moss) approached me to tell me everything about their new Cornish venture, I couldn’t wait to get started. Together with her mother-in-law Heather (@hellish44) they’ve renovated an old Cornish stable block to create a calm, cosy Scandi-inspired holiday retreat where guests immediately feel at peace.

The loft style space had great bones but having been empty for a while, it felt cold and a little unloved. By breathing fresh life into it with new paint and flooring, new bathrooms, beautiful furniture and rustic Scandi details, they transformed it into a truly Hygge and inviting space for their guests.

With views of trees and the creek beyond where you can paddle or wild swim and just a stroll up the lane to woodland walks and trails. Malmo in Cornwall is close to the beautiful harbour town of Falmouth and a short drive to the stunning wilder north coast. It’s the perfect base for a Cornish getaway.

Our craft meets your story

Influenced by the colours and textures of the surrounding area we created a full brand identity and guidelines for Malmo in Cornwall. As well as website design, print materials, and packaging design for their hand and body wash and tote bags.

We also created a guest information brochure with tips on where to shop, eat and dine in the area.
