Come have a cup of tea with me

Are there any particular design concepts or approaches you follow, or that you are currently enjoying exploring?

My approach to design draws on explorative and holistic principles. As a multidisciplinary designer, I am interested in creating experiences for all touch points that engage all of our senses and go beyond the visual. For me, the most memorable objects, brands, and spaces are those that speak to and nurture our senses in a deeply embodied way, creating a true sense of connection.

I offer a sensorial and embodied alternative to visually-driven design. This means prioritising textures, sounds, scents, and spatial sensations to craft meaningful atmospheres, whether for a physical space or a brand. I believe that anything can have an atmosphere and ideally, it should feel haptic, immersive and infused with intention.

I’ve always been inspired by the growing need for tactile design and haptic qualities in our lives. In our increasingly digital world, there is a longing to reconnect with the handmade, nature, and to engage our sense of touch. Environments filled with natural materials, living surfaces, and tactile experiences offer a path back to this sense of grounding. Incorporating these elements into design is a simple yet powerful way to enhance well-being and nurture a deeper connection to our surroundings.

I am passionate about designing for all senses, rather than just considering the aesthetic experience, as I think this approach brings out the full potential of a design, making it truly come to life. I love when clients come to me with open briefs, inviting me to create something that allows them or their audience to connect deeply and feel something. It’s not about providing a specific solution that simply aligns with what they’ve already seen, know or expect; it’s about offering a new vision that expands beyond their original ideas and invites more expansive possibilities.

When supporting clients, I enjoy inspiring them with new ways of seeing things or processes—ideas that are still evolving and may not yet be fully formed (creative direction). Together, we nurture the concepts that resonate, refining and exploring them to create something that feels complete, inspired and aligned.
